Very often you are going to have people ask what you do for a living.
It's critical that you have a stock answer you have memorized and
internalized, so that it comes out of you naturally. For example, if you
are in a health company, you could say "I help people become healthy
and wealthy, do either of those interest you?" If you are with a cell phone company, you might say, "I
help people eliminate their monthly cell phone bill." If you are working
a full-time job and your business on the side, you could say, "My
full-time job is as an Accountant (or whatever you do), but I'm building
my fortune through a part-time home business." The key in whatever you
say is to just give them enough to create curiosity, so they will ask
for more information.
